In Times Like These

Standard

There is a song which says “in times like these we need a Savior, in times like these we need anchor, be sure, be very sure, your anchor holds and grips the solid rock. That rock in Jesus He is the one, that rock is Jesus the only one, be sure, be very sure, your anchor holds and grips the solid rock!

It touches my heart because it’s so true. In times like these we need a Savior because the people of today are running around like loose cannons. There’s no patience, love, joy, or peace in the lives of many and it shows.

Don’t be caught up or fooled by people in thinking or believing the ways of the world is right. It’s not!!! I know sometimes it’s frustrating if I say it isn’t I would be lying. I can’t lie to God, therefore there’s no reason for me to lie to anyone. Sometimes it’s feels difficult, but during those times just as I will continue to stand I pray you continue to stand as well. No matter what it looks like; stand on the Word of God. Remember the Word says “the race isn’t given to the swift nor the strong, but to the one who endures to the end.” Hold on, stand fast, be strong, keep your head up God got your back through it all.

Keep on the Armor of God and know no matter what is going on you’re not alone. No matter how out of control the world appears God is in control. Everything has to happen for a reason it’s all a part of the plan. Man thinks they are doing the planning. They think they are getting things in order for their plans, but I’m here to tell you Jesus is the Master planner and He has all the control and power. Man’s plan may take shape, but the plan Jesus has is the Master plan and it supersedes any plan man can make.

Don’t let anything you see, hear, or encounter cause you to fear or want to turn around. Stand firmly and continue to grip the Solid Rock (Jesus). Jesus has no part in fear.

Start operating in the authority and power Jesus gave us. He gave us power over the enemy (whatever it may be). He said “NO weapon formed against us shall prosper.” That means nothing or no one.

Don’t be fooled or sidetracked by the devil, he has a mission to accomplish. Know him for exactly what he is (a deceiver, father of lies, master of tricks, and all kinds of things). When you are on Jesus’s side you know the devil when he comes. The Bible says “if you resist the devil he will flee.” You can’t entertain him at all. You have to send him on his way. He will come in all kinds of forms and through people and things. As a child of God you will know him will he comes. Stand on the Word of God and remember you are NEVER alone!!
