Too many so called Saints are pumped up by others to the point of being puffed up. They are standing dangerously on man-made pedal stools. They may have started out with a sincere walk, however; because they didn’t ever really have their feet planted they took their eyes off Jesus and started thinking they are doing it on their own. It isn’t so!!!!!! Now they are all puffed up and too blind to see it. They have lost focus and now it’s about self-gratification which normally entails power and greed. This has nothing to do with Jesus.
The catastrophic truth is they are man serving man and no longer Jesus! These types of people do what they have to do to keep the spotlight on them to continue with their greedy ways. They are being worshipped, praised, and idolized. Sad part of it all is they love it! None of it has anything to do with Jesus!
Some people will catch attitudes if they aren’t addressed by their titles. Many are getting their quick degrees, because they think it makes them more prominent. You know this has nothing to do with Jesus the Son or our Father God. Jesus isn’t impressed at all in no way, shape, form, or fashion. It is meaningless to Him.
When individuals have gained all of their worldly possessions and then some day die, nothing they’ve gained benefits them IF they weren’t living for Jesus and according to His Word! Someday we will ALL leave this world. If a person has lived for the world, they will ultimately die gaining the world, but losing their soul.
No one can grow in spirit if they are full of self. If they are puffed up and prideful, they will make everything about self. These types of people are living in vain. Their lifestyles benefits them none at all. These types of people are seeking accolades from man. Their focus is on being pleasing in the sight of man. Their focus is no longer on Jesus, because they feel they got to where they are on their own.
As I’ve always said, there is nothing wrong with self development, self improvement, goals, success, etc. However, if a person isn’t focused on Jesus and helping others none of it matters. We aren’t here to simply accomplish our dreams and goals. We are here to serve Jesus and help others. It’s not about us! Don’t get me wrong, we aren’t supposed to live for other people or allow others to hinder us, but we are here to lend others a hand. Helping others doesn’t mean allowing yourselves to be walked over or stomped on. It means giving someone a helping hand when and where you can. It means being more selfless and less selfish.
The only way to the Father is through the Son. The only way to the Son is by being born again and living a Holy life according to the Word of God. When
people make their existence all about what they have, their titles, and their money; they’ve lost complete focus. These types of individuals can’t increase in Jesus until they decrease in self. Jesus can’t use us until we decrease in self and allow Him to work in us and through us!
