The Time is now, Tomorrow may be too Late

Standard

Your time and my time is winding up. I’m putting me in it, because I’m not exempt. Everyday we get closer to stepping out of life’s backdoor into eternal life. I’ve repeatedly written and said how we live now determines what we will step into. Every person on earth has the opportunity to live eternally with the King, and despite this fact, people still don’t want to give up this world. People are still playing church and playing with Jesus the Son of God and God Himself; as if it is all a big game.

Please don’t let Him catch you unprepared! Look around at everything going on in the world these days. We are living in the last days. I know people think it’s something that has been said for years. I disagree, because back several years ago, I never seen the things I’ve seen happening today. Years ago I couldn’t see the Bible being fulfilled as I see it today.

Many who claim to be God’s children are still living in their “have it my way world.” I expect it from nonbelievers, but those who are claiming to be Saints shouldn’t have this type of damning mentality. It’s all fun until the ticket has been punched and eyes have closed for the final time. It is then over! The sad part is no one knows when it will be, yet people continue to gamble with their lives. This is no game, it is for real!

There is nothing the world can give a man other than what man deems as important(wealth, glitz, glamour, fame, fortune, etc). First of all it’s always bought with a price. None of what the world has to offer you can take with you when you die. The price for Salvation is completely free. The part people don’t seem to comprehend is although it’s free, it doesn’t mean there isn’t a price for how you live. There is a standard as to how we should live and it involves living according to God’s Word.

People are always complaining about nothing being free. Yet, Salvation is free, but many choose to not accept it. All we have to do is accept Jesus as our Savior (Romans 10:9). Being saved is the first step on this journey. After becoming Saved a person can’t live any kind of way and think because they are saved they will go to Heaven. No! It doesn’t work like that! The Bible is our Guide as to how we should live. We can’t be “lukewarm” we have to be either hot or cold. We can’t be both! This means you must either live for Him or you’re living against Him. You can’t be half way in it, you can’t be in it when you feel like it. You must be all the way in it at all times!

A person’s works, going to church, tithing, duties in church, etc none of it will get a person into Heaven. We must be saved, born again (a new creature putting off the old ways), and we must live a Holy life! It is up to each and everyone of us what we choose. Calling yourself a Saint doesn’t make you one! Going to church doesn’t make you a Saint. You must be saved, born again, and living Holy according to God’s Word.

Many says it’s difficult, but as I’ve said many times before; it’s no harder than a person makes it. It’s just as easy to do right as it is to do wrong. People do wrong with no thought, but you must be very conscious and in the moment when you’re a true Saint, so that you continue to do right. You must keep Jesus on your mind and His Words in your heart and on your mind. His Word convicts a true Saint. Being a new creature makes you self aware and it keeps you from wanting to do anything against God.

I’m a witness if you’re truly God’s child then you’re truly a “new creature” and the last thing you want to do is something displeasing in the sight of God. Doing wrong isn’t debatable or an option. As a child of God your mind and heart is on Jesus and your heart convicts you of any wrong. As a child of God you know how to resist the devil in whatever forms he presents himself. The heart and soul of a true Saint is always focused on doing right, even when the devil try to throw stuff at you.

Many need to get it together. The time is right now! Too much is going on in this world and trust me; man’s agenda is NOT God’s agenda. Man is trying to do all sorts of evil things, but those very people will someday answer to the Father for all they’ve done and trying to do. “Every knee shall someday bow and every tongue shall confess, He is Lord! People must do it now while He’s listening because later when He has turned a death ear, it will be too late

Unexpected Death

Standard

On 9/11 this year I lost my cousin who was in her early 20’s. She and my daughter had babies close to the same time not even 3 weeks ago. She may have had hers a few days earlier. She became ill because she wouldn’t stop hemorrhaging and deteriorated. Although her baby went home, my cousin never left the hospital. No one expected this at all.

I wanted to share this, because I’ve written over and over and I’ve talked about how we only have this moment that we are currently living. Tomorrow isn’t promised, ALL we have is right now; this very moment. My prayer is that she made total peace with God before she died.

Sometimes people have a chance to make peace, but other times, because of the life people chose to live they don’t get that chance. They die suddenly in the midst of their sins. I thank God that she had time and I pray she took it.

None of us knows when our clocks will be stopped, (when He will say our time is up). How we live our lives right now determines our eternal rest. People are sad and heavy laden when a loved one is no longer with us. Our loved ones and friends who have passed has done what we all will do. No one is exempt!! Your looks, money, your skin color, title, status, etc will not save you from death.

People don’t want to give up their sexing, fornication, adultery, filthy sex acts, nasty ways of living, nasty thoughts and acts, filthy fetishes, addictions, statuses, titles, partying, etc. They want to continue to seek fame and fortune, laying up their worldly treasures. They continue to be selfish and greedy and submit to the world. It’s all a personal choice. When I was a part of the worldly ways I did some things unpleasing to the Lord, but some things I never ever involved myself in. Although some things I never did, my sins wasn’t considered little blemishes, sin is sin and I was just as filthy.

Some deaths are completely unexpected to us, but NONE or unexpected to God, for He holds our time clocks in the palms of His hand. He doesn’t want death of our loved ones to allow us to become sad and depressed. He wants us to rejoice the time we had with them. We all must someday die and the process begins the day we’re born.

First I want to give condolences to anyone going through bereavement. Cry for a moment if you must, but don’t allow it to  keep you in a depressive state, because they’ve done something that you and I will someday do. There is no way around it. Life goes on with or without you! It’s very tough to deal with death, but we must do so. My prayer is that you understand that if you’re not reborn by the time you die, that when you die you’re dead and you don’t have a chance for eternal life. The time to choose is now; while we have blood running through our veins.

Nothing is unexpected to God!! He wishes for NONE of us to perish. Every day we live is a chance to get right with Him. I pray that you make the right choice. All we have will one day be no good to us. It is meaningless to God now and it will be completely meaningless to us when we die. What we must  understand now is that how we live right now determines our eternal rest. You can be placed in the most glamorous vault available, but it will not save your soul from eternal damnation.

None of us would have EVER thought my cousin would be gone. She was full of life, fun and vibrant. She got to hold and enjoy her Son for a short period and I am thankful for that. Yesterday I met a man and we talked for a while about the goodness of the Lord. He then told me that on 9/11 he lost his niece she was only 10. She was at school and had some type of reaction. We just never know when it will happen. As I said before, many people leave home, but never return and then there are those who came home and never left again.

God is coming back for each of us one day, “in the twinkling of an eye.” He’s coming “like a thief in the night.” None of us knows when He will return for us. All I pray is that you’re ready!!!!!!
